the sea meets the Baroque. It is the starting point for extraordinary excursions: art, history, and the footsteps of Commissario Montalbano.

Recommended is the walk along the evocative seafront all the way to Punta Pisciotto, near the ancient Fornace Penna. In addition to the golden sand, a stretch of Mediterranean dunes is still present here.
VECCHIA FORNACE
Building strategically located on the beautiful Pisciotto cliff. Just a few metres away is the sea; its chimney became a geographical landmark for sailors and others.

PUNTA SECCA
Punta Secca, beyond its appeal as a film set, is a delightful seaside location, with its lighthouse, fishing village, narrow lanes, and white houses — truly the most authentic scent of Mediterranean Sicily.
MODICA
The Duomo is undoubtedly the most imposing monument in Modica, and the first to visit: dedicated to Saint George, it rises at the end of a spectacular staircase of 250 steps. It was built in 1090 on the ruins of a temple.
